Sam replied to my message very promptly and asked for photos of the problem and was then able to quote from these. He was able to come and repair the pipes the following day. It only took him about an hour and at a very reasonable cost. I’m really pleased to have found such a competent and pleasant person and would highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.”

I can't recommend him highly enough. As well as being friendly and professional, he is clearly very knowledgeable about his trade. His work was of a high standard and he's a very tidy worker (he used dust sheets to catch any debris & he took all rubbish away). His communication prior to and during the job was helpful and clear but what impressed me most was his after care. He popped back a couple of times after the job to check that both he and I were happy with his work and that all was OK with the underfloor heating, which it was. I would use Sam again in a heart beat.”

Google2026-06-02“We had a problem with our Ideal Logic boiler. Sam attended the next day and after doing some investigations on the boiler, he carefully explained the options. After checking with The Ideal technical team he quickly sourced a part locally that may have been the problem. He could not guarantee this part was the problem but believed it probably would be. He fitted the part 2 days ago and the problem seems to be resolved. I found Sam to be up front about the job, very honest in explaining ' a matter of elimination process. He told me when he was available again if the issue came back. Very pleased with his communication, punctuality and workmanship.”

This week we discovered we had a pretty nasty leak coming through our ceiling in another part of the house. We contacted Sam to see if he could help. He was at our front door within 20 minutes. Within 30 mins he had located the source of the leak and had fixed it before we suffered any further damage. All done with a smile on his face and his usual friendly attitude.

Since then he has helped with various things, recently installing an outside tap which we are very pleased with especially as the tap location made the job not completely straightforward.
