Immersion Heater and Hot Water Cylinder Work

We worked on an immersion heater fitted to a hot water cylinder and found a heavy build-up of scale. The photos show the scale on the parts removed from the cylinder and inside the openings.

It’s the sort of thing you wouldn’t see from the outside of the cylinder. These photos give a good idea of how much scale can collect around an immersion heater over time.
